Street Photography:
Getting behind the subject. Literally!
I honestly cannot imagine a street photographer, amateur or professional,
who hasn't done it - photographed a person from behind, that is.
I know I have. Many times! And I never get tired of it.
So what is it about these particular styles of street photography like, silhouettes, posters, and beggars, that we always keep going back to them?
Do share your thoughts.
In the meantime, here are some great examples of
Getting behind the subject. Literally! for your viewing pleasure:

I am not a photographer, but a viewer and fan. One of the things I like about photographs from behind is that the viewer is led into the setting. When a person is photographed from the front, the viewer becomes interested in the person. When photographed from behind, the viewer tends to focus more on the action and setting and interaction of the subject with the setting.
Just a very unexpert thought! And... love the photos!

"Unexpert"? I seriously doubt that - especially after what you just wrote up there.
