My eyes hated me when I went without glasses, and my vision is a LOT better than his. It does look awful to have to see everything as a blob or a patch of light or darkness, etc. It's cool how he showed the audience what things look like to give us perspective. Hopefully something will be invented or something that will help him

My fiance has been totally blind since the age of 12. I teach children with visual impairments as well. What state are you in? There are lots of resources out there to help you adjust to blindness.

I can't imagine living like that. As that quote that came in view "do they have a death wish"... That really made an impact, also seeing him watch bottles, or looking but not seeing. How many things can go awfully wrong

I couldn't hear the soundtrack..but the visuals were enough.. (this old laptop fell a while back and the sound was apparently the casualty of that).. I can't imagine having that happen.. I think one can adapt to being deaf, perhaps...but I would not be able to cope with blindness..... I had my own experience with some of that... my eyes had been getting progressively worse.. poor night vision.. very bad distance vision... very bad adjustment from dark to light.. like that scene where he goes outside .... Fortunately mine just turned out to be bad cataracts, which were removed (all those years of sailing without wearing sunglasses a lot).... and all that went away.. thankfully....
