The 9.13.18 Nintendo Direct, was rather... underwhelming for me personally. It's the first character reveal we got where NO ONE DIED this time, lol (so I had to justify that here!)Compared to the last Direct we got, we got 5 newcomers, but for this one we only got one. (Was expecting other characters, honestly!)
I'm not really into Animal Crossing, so I couldn't care less about Isabelle, but I am at least happy for her fans who wanted more reps for the series. If you follow all the leaks like me, her inclusion was EXPECTED, but what got me is that she is Fighter 68, and NOT classified as an Echo Fighter (Would've been 45e).
She's actually you call a SEMI-CLONE of Villager, kinda like what Lucas is to Ness.
Personally, I thought she would be best suited as an Assist due to her alleged "pacifist" nature, and now I have to keep reminding myself she's actually in the game.
Now that Izzy's a fighter, I look forward to the crazy matchups between her and Ridley!Β Β
Who would win? A monstrous space dragon crazed with bloodshed, or an adorable little puppy-person?
That's the beauty of Smash Bros., it could go either way!

I personally like animal crossing and was still confused on why she was added (and not as an echo fighter). I would also like to see waluigi and I know people are asking for geno. we also gotta appreciate that nintendo is one of the few game companies that does this sort of thing (directs)

Yeah, that's true. I'll agree that Isabelle's reveal is perfect for this particular direct due to the 2019 Animal Crossing, but still, I'm more looking forward to other newcomers instead. Isabelle being a character now was just a "meh" for me.
