Description
and what if... Jupiter was big enough to start nuclear fusion in the core? It would become a brown dwarf!I made some meteorologic improvement in Jupiter's atmosphere like heat emission from the inside and...
DOUBLE RED SPOT? because... Why not?
more mass in Jupiter -> more atmospheric events
(so), First of all...
I generated a bump map for Europa's surface, i blend together
1- a noise map
2- genral canyon/valley blurry elevation map
3- icy cracks textures
Then...
I used some of the levels used for the generation of the bump map to create a gradient colormap
(it's a little redish in the canyon, but it diasppeared a little after the final color and exposure correction)
and so i blended toghether 3 levels of Europa's surface
-one for the color
-one for the light/dark areas
-one blurry level for the glossyness reflections (with an alpha mask)
I made 3 (three renderings of Jupiter...)
1- Color+Bump Map (Created using a stock Jupiter Texture where i made a bigger red spot + a second red spot)
2- The same, but without textures (i use this kind of rendering to create the atmosphere glossy level, because i get a better atmospheric layer, it looks volumetric and pretty realistic)
3- Thermal emission mask map (i use an orange gradient to create the heat, and i put the thermal rendering in the mask layer, so i get something like city night lights but it's visible in the night side and it increases luminosity in the daytime side
I added a stellar corona in the background, some blurry glossy level "to make the shine gloww maan" and finally i added a curve correction layer and a bit of cromatic correction.

regardless...
If you need some resource to create your own pictures or a "double spotted Jupiter" here are some texture:

You can test it in space engine or mess around in celestia or change hue to create other fictional gas giants, you can also change color of Europa's surface to create lava canyons and so on

Actually, Brown Dwarfs aren't massive enough to sustain nuclear fusion. It says right here:

This kind of sh!t happen when you take for granted that a big floating ball of hydrogen starts turning
Β helium without thinking about differences in weight between Jupiter and the Sun. Ok... Fortunately some kind of thermal emission makes the planet shine and i don't need tho change the main picture
