It's a carbine, and one of my favorite weapons. Makes me angry to see it called an SMG in Battlefield Bad Company 2....

It is a Carbine more for CQB purpose
I slap people for saying this is a SMG
it fires 7.62x39mm cartridges, which goes under rifle calibers, it is only called a SMG when it uses pistol caliber rounds

it dose NOT fire the same round as the 47, it fires he 5.56 X 39R, it would kick like a bitch if it fired the 7.62 X 39R. I'm just saying...

my mistake the AK47U fires the same rounds as a AK74
I believe it was mix up between AK47 and AK74, sorry to mix you up

Uh this would be a carbine. Compact but still fires the AK-47's round. Same with the AKS-74U.

A little research and this one its a AKS-74U and the name sounds better

It's a carbine, as it fires the same ammunition as the AK-74.
I believe the proper name is AKS-47U, however.
It looks great though man.

no it is aks74u, the aks47u was never made, they had an ak47 arsenal from which the aks74u and aks74um
