Yes yes, more warhammer. What can I say, I hate the game but love the setting.I drew this up ages ago, about time it got some color.

Seriously... this little illustration all on its own, has inspired me to create a comic strip of a hilarious nature, centered in the 40k realm...or some such. I hope you continue with more renditions of him in the future.

Hmmm nice. I love the game, I love the setting, I love WHFB and all the GW stuff. But I still hate GW... Yeah sounds strange but I really dislike the way they rip the Players off.

The game you love to hate ( actually I hate some of the people playing it ) Dark Angels are by far the baddest of the bunch.

Honestly, I've always had a thing for the Salamanders. At least they won't suddenly disappear, and ditch you in the shit because they heard a rumor that there might be a guy three systems over that might be someone they're after.
But the robes are spiffy.

It's a real shame 40k sucks so hard, I agree that the source material is fantastic- some of the most well-developed sci-fi out there. GW just don't bother with making good games anymore, or caring sufficiently about their customers...

What is it with chibimarines? Everyone wants to reduce the 8-foot superhuman genetic monstrosity warrior-monk of the grim darkness of the far future into a two-foot cutsi-pie! Okay, okay, he's not totally chibi, I know that. And I DO love the "dumb-but-alert" expression on his face that reminds me of a red setter.
If you like the 40k setting but don't like the game mechanics (as I was explaining to a new recruit the other day, it's not a battle simulation - it's just a game), why not take a look at INQUISITOR? It really IS a battle simulation and dives deeper into the cyber-gothic imagery than any other GW game. [link]

Yep, in terms of game mechanics WHFB kicks 40K's ass any day, but I prefer the aestetics of 40K.

The game got real old for me, but I love the source material. odd seeing this, since I just finished (again) "Sons of Fenris", which involved a Fallen.
