Bunga’s successors as the Bravest member of Kion’s Lion GuardIf Bunga saving Kion from Ushari a second time when Ushari attacks Kion again in “The Lion Guard: Battle for the Pride Lands” meant Bunga sacrificing himself, here are possibilities of who would take Bunga’s place on the Lion Guard as its Bravest member when Kion, the rest of the Lion Guard, and Makini go on the journey to the Tree of Life whether before departure or on the way to the Tree of Life.
Vitani - Vitani is a laid back and confident lioness who doesn't leap into battle unless it is necessary, though she responds fiercely when confronted. She is very confident, though it may come across as slightly being cocky. The best moment for when Vitani would be getting Bunga’s place on the Lion Guard as its Bravest member is in “The Lion Guard: The Harmattan” when she saves Kion, the rest of the Lion Guard, and Makini from Makucha and his Leap after choosing to leave the Outlands to find Kopa at the Tree of Life since she knows in her heart that he is still alive. Vitani is really saddened to hear about Bunga’s death but feels peace and comforts Kion. Then when Kion to return the favor offers Vitani Bunga’s place as the Bravest member of the Lion Guard on the belief that it is what Bunga would like and because Vitani has shown extreme courage in what she has done and is the best one available for the position, Vitani agrees and accepts without hesitation. And then Kion gives Vitani her Mark of the Guard and title as the Bravest member of the Lion Guard. From that moment on, Vitani proves to be a very great member of the Lion Guard. Vitani makes sure that Makini’s Bakora Staff does not fall into the hands of Mama Binturong and her porcupine friends and fights them off enough to where it throws Mama Binturong out of power over the Stone Forest and its surrounding lands. The rockslide does not happen which allows the Lion Guard and Makini to be given a proper welcome by the Night Pride while Vitani reunites with Kopa and his mentor and adoptive mother Imani (a dull brown Lioness who defected from the Outsiders (Zira’s Pride) when Zira attacked Kopa and gave him up for dead) and meets Imani’s mate and daughter, but they do not stay at the Tree of Life even after Kion and Ono get the cures they need and Makucha, Chuluun, Ora, Mama Binturong, and their groups are defeated once and for all, because Kion, Vitani, the rest of the Lion Guard, Kopa, and Imani and her family all agree they have a duty to their families and friends back home in the Pride Lands, and because Rani is already betrothed to her childhood best friend named Asim.
Tiifu - Tiifu is very kind, sincere and sympathetic, and has a caring spirit. She greatly enjoys hunting practice and is very enthusiastic about pleasing Nala, Kiara, or Kion. After the events of “The Lion Guard: The Underground Adventure” adventure, Tiifu no longer is afraid of the dark and showed bravery and calmness when helping Thurston. Before departing for the Tree of Life, Kion offers Tiifu Bunga’s place as the Bravest member of the Lion Guard on the belief that it is what Bunga would like. With Kiara and Zuri’s support, Tiifu accepts without hesitation after when Kion promises Kiara and Zuri for him and Tiifu to come back after when Kion and Ono are finished getting the cures they need. And then Kion gives Tiifu her Mark of the Guard and title as the Bravest member of the Lion Guard. From that moment on, Tiifu proves to be a very great member of the Lion Guard. Tiifu makes sure that Makini’s Bakora Staff does not fall into the hands of Mama Binturong and her porcupine friends and fights them off enough to where it throws Mama Binturong out of power over the Stone Forest and its surrounding lands. The rockslide does not happen which allows the Lion Guard and Makini to be given a proper welcome by the Night Pride while Kion gets to meet his and Kiara’s big brother Kopa (who has been at the Tree of Life ever since having been attacked and given up for dead by Zira as a Cub) and he and Tiifu and the rest of the Lion Guard meet Kopa’s mentor and adoptive mother Imani (a dull brown Lioness who defected from the Outsiders (Zira’s Pride) when Zira attacked Kopa and gave him up for dead) and her mate and daughter. But they do not stay at the Tree of Life even after Kion and Ono get the cures they need and Makucha, Chuluun, Ora, Mama Binturong, and their groups are defeated once and for all, because Kion, Tiifu, the rest of the Lion Guard, Kopa, and Imani and her family all agree they have a duty to their families and friends back home in the Pride Lands, and because Rani is already betrothed to her childhood best friend named Asim.
Hamu - Hamu has shown great bravery and has impressive strength in his back legs. Although he pays close attention to what he has been told and learns new skills quickly, he is still very naive and innocent as well as fall prey to liars. But his naive self and intentions of falling prey to liars vanishes overtime after joining the Lion Guard. Before departing for the Tree of Life, Kion offers Hamu Bunga’s place as the Bravest member of the Lion Guard on the belief that it is what Bunga would like. With his mom Muhimu’s support, Hamu accepts without hesitation after when Kion promises for them (Kion and Hamu) to come back after when Kion and Ono are finished getting the cures they need. And then Kion gives Hamu his Mark of the Guard and title as the Bravest member of the Lion Guard. From that moment on, Hamu proves to be a very great member of the Lion Guard. Hamu makes sure that Makini’s Bakora Staff does not fall into the hands of Mama Binturong and her porcupine friends and fights them off enough to where it throws Mama Binturong out of power over the Stone Forest and its surrounding lands. The rockslide does not happen which allows the Lion Guard and Makini to be given a proper welcome by the Night Pride while Kion gets to meet his and Kiara’s big brother Kopa (who has been at the Tree of Life ever since having been attacked and given up for dead by Zira as a Cub) and he and Hamu and the rest of the Lion Guard meet Kopa’s mentor and adoptive mother Imani (a dull brown Lioness who defected from the Outsiders (Zira’s Pride) when Zira attacked Kopa and gave him up for dead) and her mate and daughter. But they do not stay at the Tree of Life even after Kion and Ono get the cures they need and Makucha, Chuluun, Ora, Mama Binturong, and their groups are defeated once and for all, because Kion, Hamu, the rest of the Lion Guard, Kopa, and Imani and her family all agree they have a duty to their families and friends back home in the Pride Lands, and because Rani is already betrothed to her childhood best friend named Asim.
Jasiri - Jasiri is a friendly and communicative hyena whose personality is the opposite of Janja and his clan. Jasiri understands and respects the Circle of Life whereas Janja's clan of hyenas only care about themselves. Jasiri even goes so far as to teach Kion himself a few points about the Circle of Life that he previously didn't understand. However, her ties to her species shine through in how often she laughs, and even Kion notes that the world is like a giant game to her. She is very determined, adventurous, courageous, fearless, brave, spunky, vivacious, effervescent, smart, and lively, and she has been described by her voice actor as zany and opinionated. She can be a bit provocative, teasing, and sassy, not to mention confident in her fighting skills, such as when she told Kovu "Any game your brother wants to play, I can play better!" Her bravery is displayed when she takes on Janja's entire clan and the Outsiders. She can act territorial and a bit antisocial, though she appears to only act this way to those she does not trust. Before departing for the Tree of Life, Janja and his Hyena clan, Jasiri, Madoa, and a select few of their Hyena clan at Kion’s request have come as Kion has an offer for Jasiri. Much to her (Jasiri) surprise, Kion offers Jasiri Bunga’s place as the Bravest member of the Lion Guard on the belief that it is what Bunga would like and because despite her (Jasiri) not being a Pride Lander, Kion wants to reward Jasiri for everything she and her Hyena clan did for him and his family and friends and for the Pride Lands while without letting them down and their trust in her and her Hyena clan which she earned. With Janja and Madoa’s support, Jasiri accepts without hesitation And then Kion gives Jasiri her Mark of the Guard and title as the Bravest member of the Lion Guard. From that moment on, Jasiri proves to be a very great member of the Lion Guard. Jasiri makes sure that Makini’s Bakora Staff does not fall into the hands of Mama Binturong and her porcupine friends and fights them off enough to where it throws Mama Binturong out of power over the Stone Forest and its surrounding lands. The rockslide does not happen which allows the Lion Guard and Makini to be given a proper welcome by the Night Pride while Kion gets to meet his and Kiara’s big brother Kopa (who has been at the Tree of Life ever since having been attacked and given up for dead by Zira as a Cub) and he and Jasiri and the rest of the Lion Guard meet Kopa’s mentor and adoptive mother Imani (a dull brown Lioness who defected from the Outsiders (Zira’s Pride) when Zira attacked Kopa and gave him up for dead) and her mate and daughter. But they do not stay at the Tree of Life even after Kion and Ono get the cures they need and Makucha, Chuluun, Ora, Mama Binturong, and their groups are defeated once and for all, because Kion, Jasiri, the rest of the Lion Guard, Kopa, and Imani and her family all agree they have a duty to their families and friends back home in the Pride Lands, and because Rani is already betrothed to her childhood best friend named Asim.
