(Kovu finds Kopa at the Tree of Life and they reunite)

After surviving Nuka's attack on his life, Kovu is directed by Mufasa to go to the Tree of Life where he will find Kopa after being told that Kopa has survived Zira's attack on his life. When Kovu and Kopa see each other again, they are very shocked to see each other again, and they reunite in the way brothers do

KOVU (looking at Kopa in a mixture of shock and joy 🥲🥹 after finally seeing him right there in front of him): Are you for real…?

KOPA (nodding his head and opening his forelegs in a come here like gesture while overcome with emotion at seeing one of his best friends who he loves as a brother): Come here, my brother.

(Without wasting a second, Kopa and Kovu run up to each other and pull each other into a very tight hug as they cry together with tears of joy 🥲🥹 )

KOPA: I’ve really missed you, Kovu.

KOVU: I’ve really missed you too, buddy. I can’t believe I got you back.

(After a few minutes, Kopa and Kovu break apart)

KOPA (filled with very great excitement): Come with me, Kovu. There’s so much you got to see.

KOVU (filled with very great excitement as well): Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!

(And so off Kopa and Kovu go so that Kopa can take Kovu on a tour of the Tree of Life)
