[After that, with them all together again, the Guardians of the Galaxy all move to Knowhere where the events of Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and Guardians of the Galaxy Volume III begin much earlier. However, because the original version of Gamora is alive and well, certain things do not take place.]

- Gamora does not lash nor swear because with her being around, it does not give Peter Quill the need for Gamora to be something for him.

- Then when it comes down to where most of the Guardians of the Galaxy move on to different lives after saving the Galaxy from the High Evolutionary, it is Stakar Ogord who continues to lead the Ravagers while Drax and Nebula raise the rescued children on Knowhere, and Mantis embarks on a journey of self-discovery with the Abilisks, and Peter Quill names Rocket the new captain of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

[As Peter Quill is preparing to leave, Gamora who has just already had a goodbye with Nebula catches up to him.]

GAMORA: Peter?

PETER QUILL: [turns to Gamora] Yes, Gamora?

GAMORA: [feeling what is on her heart] Peter, with your permission, I’d like to accompany you to Earth.

PETER QUILL: [taken aback] Really?

GAMORA: Yes, Peter. I told you before, I love you more than anything and you’re the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. Besides, you’re my family and I wouldn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to get to meet your grandfather. And also, because I feel that we have some unfinished business ever since we got separated when Thanos sacrificed me for the Soul Stone.

PETER QUILL: [Overcome with emotion] Yes.
