Sense I finished my LEGO fan animation I thought now might be a good time to upload the reference shears I made for the project.
I notice most people when they make LEGO fanart they almost always humanize the characters. Which is fine, though I feel it often looses the charm of having them be... their own type of creatures, if you follow. That being said It's fun to create a anime-esq style art for Minifigs and LEGO type beings.

When I was making this reference I noticed the design for the outfit felt vaguely familiar, to which I eventually remembered I worked on making it a texture for Blender models long ago. Kinda made it easier to draw sense I already had it in my deep memory. That being said I was a bit stumped with the rope texture. For a single image it's fine and a wonderful detail, though for an animation with 80+ images, each being hand drawn.... That being said I can probably whip out still drawings of this outfit lickity-split now.
