Okay this one's just dumb. But that's the theme I've settled into this time, so sod it, it's time to go all in!
Now today was a bit of a...conumdrum. I imagine this is a mostly Americana-flavoured prompt so "Corn" is either A: actual corn corn or B: Candy Corn. That one, supposedly wax-like sweet Americans always like to complain about but, they always seem to have it around? Maybe one day when I can find some online that doesn't cost me an arm and a leg to order in, I'll try some. But it's not a thing over here. So for this prompt, I took a third option; Stephen King's Children of the Corn! The one Nostalgia Critic popularised as "Scary Corn: The Movie". So admittedly this is more based on his parody than the actual film. He's sick with shingles rn, I'm sure he'd appreciate it.
Yeah this one was a bit of a bust. Tomorrow will be better, tho. I can promise that.
