...Nah, I don't have much to say here, no long winding, self-preening rant. I just have an interesting question to show you. Cookie for the first right answer.
In all honesty, I don't really GET the Lilade ship. It's a bit like SonAmy, really. It's logical in SOME fashion, but the characters don't share chemistry; I mean, Lilac HATES Spade, doesn't she?
Lilac and Spade belong to GalaxyTrail
And Katherine belongs to me

That's gotta be the best way to put it, yeah! It's kinda sad that people originally supported Freedom Planet out of desperation, the closest thing to a new Sonic game that was "good"... but then it turns out that Freedom Planet isn't really that good and people convince themselves that it is just to avoid that sense of desperation. By now, however, Sonic Mania is here to save the series and FP isn't even trying, so nobody's gonna care about the turd now. I predict that FP2 will burn out quicker than FP1 did.

Baisacly for me any official and OC character is good to ship with lilac...
Do you remember scene where Brevon tortures Lilac?
For Normal people this could heavily damage their mental health...
But for Lilac this doesn't harm her mental health...
Looks like Lilac is "Psychically Deaf"
That means she is resistant to any form of psychical events including pain , tortures and...Confessions of love...
Why Lilac is "Psychically Deaf" ?
Maybe because she was abandoned at young age and she joined a To the gang of young hooligans...
For some "Normal" people that survive this they probably become extremly depreesed and commit suicide or...They will get some mental illness...
But even if Lilac survives this and nothing special changes with her due to a lot of courage , Humility and faith...
What could make her "Psychically Deaf" ?
Maybe her dragon natural chemical resistance!
Because She is a DRAGON in 50% she could gain a chemical and radiation resistance! (Because how she survived Pangu Lagoon?)
And because hormones that are very useful in sexual perefrences and determine in what moment Lilac will get When she falls in love are broken...Due to chemical resistance...
And...Btw...because chemical resistance aslo affects on Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) Which is the most important ingredient of Metabolism her Metabolism level is very low...(Thats aslo why she is very skiny)

Frredom Planet gains fame thanks to giving total FREEDOM to people...thats why this Lilade ship exist...
Most people use "Contrast ratio" while shipping and thats why we have ships like lilac x spade or lilac x brevon or use "unity ratio" to ship lilac with torque...
while i'm use biological and psychological reasions why (or why not) ship her with something...

The main problem I have is that it seems to have been over-engineered. It's a version of Occam's Razor; the simplest of two theories is most likely correct. I mean Lilac could be emotionally deaf because of her genetic background OR it's more that's GalaxyTrail's writers fail harder than SEGA's do.
Honestly, when it comes to theories and psychology, I'm probably the last guy to turn to. Sorry bud.

Well...i'm know that GT make a big mistakes while making Lilac...
The biggest is...NEVER MIX DIFFREND CREATURES!
Its great that we cannot make monkeys copulate with horses...
DNA is very delicate...even one more chromosome is very dangerous...
And...i'm specially made that over-engineered because i'm used biological and psychological knowledge while making this theory...because i'm want this theory only for "inteligent" group...
And...thats all?
