Based on an actual conversation! 8D Heh.. yea.. I had a doctor's appointment the other day with a brand new doctor person! ..Who was a dude... and guess what kind of visit it was T_T; ((can you say Paps test?
T______T;..)) But it wasn't so bad >> he was a nice guy.. and struck me as an ex-hippie or something >.> and he asked me 6 times if I smoke pot O_o; ..whatever >.> he was cool ^_^ and so was the receptonist/nursey-type lady.. she had neat tattoos o.oAnyway!
This comic is basically... shat. Just.. essentially horrible.. I'm not much fond of it ._.; but whatever >> I worked on it through dinner so I decided I should at least post it >>
And a quick note on the disney thing.. I have nothing against Computer animated films, particularly those by Pixar.. I love them in fact :3 But I do miss the classic animation features ._.; just think, next generations will have no more disney classics quite like The Little Mermaid.. ot Aladdin or ((one of my all-time favorites)) The Lion King.. I'm all for progress and everything.. but I think the artistic community and the world as a whole will be missing out on something fantastic from now on.. ((and I'm not counting those low bugdet, straight to video sequels Disney spews out every 5 months ><;; friggin Lilo and Stitch movies...ugh.))
Gah.. anyway.. enjoy.. I guess ._.;

have to admit, old disneys are great, aladdin etc the new stuff is ok for kids but still sucky in the fact that as you said... its lacking the whole "art" point of drawing it etc

True dat shit. I fucking LOVE disney, but I hate the the merchandising crap they constantly put out. i liked enchanted just because of the animated part at the beginning. I had forgotten what high quality 2D animation looked like.
I want to own disney and force them to make a decent traditionally animated movie. >:C

Tell me about it. I spent 2 years studying the ol' pencil and paper method. Than a few years later I took a year of computer animation for just that reason. though I gotta say, once you've been through 2D traditional animation, every medium afterwards is so much faster and simpler. And certainly saves on paper. Call me a bastard, but I embrace the new computer trend of animaton. Look at it this way, now that animation is cheaper and faster to produce, they no longer have to ship the bulk of the work to Korea. Which means more jobs for us.

That place is awesome. The number of tired looking twenty something year olds smoking outside buildings there has multiplied 134% since it opened. The town it's in has certainly perked up a little because people have a reason to go there now though. I went there a few times to get lessons from a student.

And I agree with you on the classics. Even the sequals to Cinderella and the Lion King were kinda... sucky. You can tell the difference between the "Then" and "Now" animation. (Beauty and the Beast and Pocahontas had such beautiful animation! T.T)
Simple in keeping similar cells, but it was still enjoyable anyway. Good job.

LILO AND STITCH OMG. First the movie, then the sequal 5 monthes later, then the TV show 10 minutes later, now ANOTHER MOVIE. I remember the sequal's commercial calling the first a classic. Despite the fact that the movie had come out 5 months earlier. And they're getting more and more bland with plot too. Apparently originality isn't good enough for them.

Oooo... I love Alice and Wonderland x3 so drug enduced~ ^-^ Another one of my favorites is Aladdin.. but I'll never look at it the same once I learned that there was a full length animated Aladdin Porno O___O;; ((and a few people believe it was animated in part by one of the original artists that worked on the movie O__o;;;..)) And that comment about Disney movies being ALL CG...I hate that too. I mean, don't get me wrong, movies like Shrek and Cars and etc. are awesome, but to make EVERY SINGLE FILM CG? Old-fashioned HAND-drawn movies were the best. I miss the movies where they actually used to SING, musical style...what happened to that? Is it now uncool to sing?;_; I'm uncool...
