Description Theres a dark overtone to teh whole image that I did not put in there, I wonder where it came from...

water colour on basic watercolour paper, line with thin ink and painted over. aproximated 1:45 minutes

I like several of your pieces, but this one is my favorite. I find it to be very warm, playful and free. I like it very much. Your technique with water colors is very creative too. I especially like the wheat field, very nice. Keep up the awesome work! >^..^<

Thanks very much for your appreciation of this work belated thanks for the favorite as well .

The technique that I tried to maintain was taught to me to be dry stroke, the paper is dry and high textured, and the stroke is made swiftly, leaving many gaps. Part way through I realized that it lacked lot of volume to the character and field, my attempt to fix that made the painting very dark(toned) to my dissapointment T.T ah well, live and learn.

I guess the dark overtone come from scanning errors,is it not?

Anyway,nice watercolour piece there.It looks like traditional art..Cool.
