In case you couldn't tell, these are devamps: modern-style Pokemon sprites edited to fit the style and limitations of the older games. The base sprites I used are from the DS-style 64x64 Pokemon Sprite Resource . It's an awesome resource, so be sure to check it out.
I make my devamps by taking a modern-style base sprite, and then editing it to find a balance between the the newer and older styles. How much that balance leans to to one side varies.
All of the pallets I used are from the official sprites from Crystal. There are some exceptions, namely Chansey and Blissey. Their original pallets were practically unusable, so I picked out a new one from the Gameboy Color's usable colors.
Of course, the bottom row of Pokemon don't have official GBC sprites, so the pallets for Drifloon, Cherubi, and Cherrim were taken from Neslug 's sprites. Sheal's pallet was made by me.
