Description
An old piece, done in January or even earlier. If you know my own site [link] and you actually happened to check it you could see this there when it was finished.Nothing to tell about this one, really. Hmm, if I thought about it more I would say there is something to tell. Scales. They're a nightmare, and now I'm not thinking of that pretty demon equene-thing.

Well, the grass is a preset brush in Photoshop I was too lazy to paint a proper background

The line art and color choice look great.
The poses are awesome, too.
Scales may be a pain, but you get used to them after a while.
I think the main thing with the wind is that it seems that you have two different wind directions, between the grass and trees. Adverse conditions indeed.

Thanks for the feedback
Actually wind can be very naughty and it can change its direction quickly in certain places, depending on its kind. At least this is what I experienced

Great work on the scales. I've never been brave enough to attempt them myself... XD
Interesting that there's obviously a very strong wind, which would certainly be helpful if harnessed correctly during flight lessons. But I would expect the dragons to be facing into the wing rather than parallel to it, so that the younger one could use the headwind to generate easy lift. *shrugs*

Hmm, perhaps this lesson was an advanced one, about flying in less convenient circumstances Anyway, one must keep balance in every kind of wind
Scales are not so frightening... I mean they look frightening but they can be handled well if you're patient. Quite patient.

Hey, that works. The younger dragon looks too old for this to be his first flight, anyways.
Well, I've never attempted them, so I'm still plenty frightened... >_> I'm pretty patient, though. I have to be; I'm too much of a perfectionist.

Well, you can try them even now... Use photos of lizards as references (I recommend photos of crocodiles because their scales are clearly visible in most pictures). That works

Well, I could try, if I were really drawing anything... XD I have a piece in progress that's not playing nice, and I haven't touched it for a week or so. I'd like to put scales on it eventually, though...

Oh... Not touching a piece for more than a week surely means for me that I won't ever touch it again But that's probably only my madness

Well, it's not like I'm working on something else. And I really want to get this drawn... But I'm really not an artist; I can't just get an idea and draw it out however I want. I'm too much of a perfectionist, and I take a weird approach to drawing stuff. At some point last week, I was just having so much trouble drawing the piece I'm on right now that I just got too frustrated and haven't touched it since. But I'm planning on finishing it... I hope. :/

Oh, don't worry about this. I don't consider myself an artist either. I'm rather a "designer", if it's not an exaggeration (by the way it is ) And planning is already a good sign

Heh, designer, artist, same basic principle.

A very good pic, I love the background and how it looks like the wind is blowing. The dragons look good too.
