I do have a love for dwarven characters, perhaps cause I'm Scottish: sod elves, gimmie a brawling axe dwarf any day

Lol, well, most players do play dwarves with a Scottish accent and I always wondered why. But in a weird way sort of fits. Never could imagine a dwarf with a French accent.

Dwarves = Scots
Halflings = English
Gnomes = Irish (mad in wonderfully weird way)
ELves = French

Yeah, Dwarves Scots for sure but I saw the Halflings as Irish and the Gnomes as Russian. As for the Elves, as they are presented by Tolkien's mythos, I never got to associate them with any country. But as they are presented in the original legends, small, mischievous and cackling in the trees, I sort of saw them germanic. Mostly because the elves are nors I guess.
