Hommage to H.R.Gigers Biomechanoids, here we see an Biomineraloid.....flesh and muscels spawning unto an old cave....the living moving surface breaks open and realeases a rain of cathartic blood....
Catharsis has to do with blood.....mathis

no more wordly not so other-worldy.....a psychological catharsis, or a release of old energy, if you are sad you feel it in the throat, and crying is the catharsis for this feeling etc...
and I my self tent to symbolize these feelings with open wounds (like Wols), and blood, because to grow up we have to suffer, we have to bleed, that is what makes us wise....the saturnic way, the stones in our way.

Thank you...it was very cathartic to paint it, I felt deep fear of death and I released some old sick energies....
