Description Credits for this piece goes to lyc , as I got the idea for the rules to generate this object while explaining the rules for another render.

While it can not really be seen, the object have three layers, one is a solid core which is pretty much hidden, and "branches" and "bulbs".

The render engine have some minor reconstruction and improvements, mostly a better multiple importance sampler. My attempts at filter, reconstruction and adaptive sampling have been for naught so far (unidirectional path tracing is probably too noisy).

As usual, all done with my own software. Download for full size. Enjoy.

hey awesome, this looks great!

btw, if you mention a user using :dev lyc: (without the space) it will notify the person and make the link automatically also, it's impossible to see the 1:1 image without hitting download (somewhere in the deviation settings you can make fullview 1:1)

Thanks.

Urk, I forgot to replace the HTML, it was there as a placeholder until I could recall the dev tag (for some reason I can remember :thumb which I never use).
