Description This is another image shot in the wet collodian process. The whole thing is created in camera on a 5x7 piece of glass. I would love to hear any thoughts on it. Thanks!

I like the fragility of this image a lot. I think it is made of subtle grey shades and vibrant textures, accented by strict black frame. It looks good and it even doesn't really matter what is depicted

A friend of mine interned with a professional photographer that used this process in his personal work, I think it looks amazing and I have been wanting to get into it myself. I just don't have the facilities at the moment... Is this a scan of the plate or the print?

This is a scan of the plate, I have yet to make prints from these out side comp tests. Who did your friend work for and where, I might know. I might be setting up a small studio in TX for a bit, but if you are really intersted in the process get in touch w/ Oustermans ( I KNOW i spelled their name wrong) They live in Rode Island I believe and hold weekend classes.

I don't know the man's name, just that he has a studio in downtown Kansas City.

A few of my instructors have actually worked with collodion, so after this week I'll start picking their brains.
