Description
The titans were faced with extinction by an ice age, but by seemingly divine means they survived by adapting extremely rapidly. They got a thick white coat of fur, lost all their fingers on their front feet and they increased further in size to be 70m in length and almost 45m high at the shoulder.
They harvested gigantic redwood trees that their ancestors seeded the planet with, now left to spread rapidly due to a lack of competition from other trees. They used it to build colossal fires and craft their titanic tools.
They emerged from the ice age as a nearly unrecognizable society, comparable to our own renaissance period in terms of tech (and even culture, as the end of the ice age was seen as a form of rebirth for them). And soon after that, they would take to the stars to reunite with their fellow man.
The fellow displayed here is from the stone age, gathering wood for the dwindling fire in the dead of night.

I really liked All Tomorrows, and since it's popular, I thought "Why not draw something related to it?"
And since I really liked the titans and was sad to see them not make it, I thought about how could they adapt to survive the cold landscape that killed them off... Then I remembered mammoths existed
