Description This map is about a future scenario, there would be a war between Ukraine and Russia... and Ukraine would be defeated. According to Treaty of Kharkiv, Russia would annex some Ukrainian oblasts and most of them would become the new Republic of Inner Ukraine, whose capital city would be Kharkiv. In the other hand, Donetsk and Lugansk become simple Russian oblasts. In addition, Budjak and Transcarpathia would become independent countries, as Republic of Budjak and Republic of Rusynia. Finally, it would be established that most of Ukrainian oblasts (shaded area) would stay under Russian military occupation and capital city would be moved to Lviv. Anti-Russian parties would be banned and new friendly Ukraine would adopt Slavic Republic of Ukraine as its official name.

Names and texts in Spanish.

Interesting version of the division of Ukraine, but there is one important detail: if the south-east of Ukraine became part of Russia, it is unlikely that it will be called Ucraina Interior, rather, this region will be called like this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novoross…

I think, if Russia would comfortable and safe, Ukrainians would want to live like that themselves (as South Koreans or Japanese under U.S. protectorate) but sadly Russia isnt. May be Poland, Hungary and Romania can.

You could simplify things.

This ukraine, + belorussia, + eastern poland, + lithuania (and prolly latvia) back into 'greater lithuania'.

Rumania + Moldavia + Budjak

Rusinia + slovakia to hungary

just put moldavia (minus transinistra) in romania, belarus also annexed by russia and you would have your 21th century iron curtain...

"...and you would have your 21th century iron curtain."..)))

The iron curtain did not disappear since the 20th century.   It just moved closer to Russia.  And now  the cold war 2 begins.

Ага, если не считать того, что Польша появилась на политической карте в ноябре 1918)))

как и Украина. Но Польша была ещё в средневековье. Если не было Польши, кто тогда захватывал нас в 1612?

kruglov In reply to drochunafurrey [2018-12-02 16:11:02 +0000 UTC]

I don´t think that there would be an ukrainian leftover.

And the other (Moldavia and Budjak would be just satelites, like the in the "good old times of sovietic empire".

May I ask did you forget about Transnistria and Gaugazia or did you just not know about them? It is pretty interesting I would say.

Sincerely, I forgot about Transnistria, I guess they would decide join Russia... In the other hand, I think Gagauzia does not "deserve" becoming independent, it is very small...
