Woops I lioned again
I've had this girl in the works for a couple months now and I'm super happy about how she turned out<3 I tried to mimic the way real blind eyes look instead of going the cartoon route with it. I wanted the blindness to really stick out/be very obvious and I think I managed to do that. c:

—[Adventurous]: You'd think that a cub who has absolutely no eyesight would be scared or afraid to venture far away from an adult's supervision. But that's not the case for Siku. She'll venture out and push the boundaries just like any other cub would with little to no fear at all. That doesn't mean she'll go looking for trouble, but she certainly won't miss out on a fun game just because she may run into something.

—[Ambitious]: Accompanying her adventurous side is Siku's ambition. Sure, her blindness is a big speed bump on the road of her life, but she sees the challenge and takes it in stride, determined to climb that hill one day and be just as good as the rest of the lions.

—[Clever]: With her determination comes Siku's creativity. Because she's determined to succeed in her goals and because she has to walk through life in a different way, she's very clever about coming up with alternative ways to do things. What's hidden to one lion may be clear to Siku.

—[Intuitive]: Although she's only a cub, Siku knows what's up. She may not be able to see, but she can tell by using her other senses when things are wrong. She relies on her instincts, which are usually 99% right, to figure out situations and how she should react to them.

—[Sympathetic]: Siku may be young, but she knows hardships better than most lions in her pride. When someone is suffering, she always seems to know the right thing to say or do. Sometimes it's creepy how well she can see through others, but she uses it to her advantage to keep her pride and the ones she cares for happy.

—[Amiable]: Like most cubs, Siku is happy. She's friendly and open with everyone, willing to make friends no matter what you look like, who you are, or what you've done. She looks past all of these things and can read most hearts. Sometimes it takes a little bit of getting to know someone, but she's very quick to understand who you really are because there's very little in her way to distract her from what you say and how you say it.

—[Self-Conscious]: This side is Siku doesn't pop up often. But because of her blindness, sometimes she gets very self-conscious, especially when her friends or adults start talking about what she may ormay not be able to do because of it. It especially hits her hard when someone calls it a disability, which she so desperately tries to keep herself from thinking that it is.

Background:

—[Birth-Cubhood]: Siku's parents, Doa and Wakati, were loyal to the former king of the Delta Island Pride, Ghariki. When she was born, they dedicated her life to the black king and their life seemed complete. However, soon after her dedication, Ghariki was found dead. It tore apart their small family, especially when Ruh declared himself the new king and began to chase out Ghariki's followers. Doa, Siku's mother, tried desperately to keep them from being found out while Wakati planned a cowardice escape. It was Doa's behavior that gave their plan away though. She avoided the new king and was on the opposite side of the celebrations. When Ruh confronted the two, Wakati finally had an ounce of bravery in him and attacked Ruh to save his family and their beliefs, but he was sorely outmatched and taken down quickly. Doa, having witnessed the event, fled the territory by herself, leaving month old Siku alone. When Ruh discovered the small blind cub, he took pity on her and spared her life. Without the influence of Ghariki or her parents, Ruh was sure that she could be raised the right way. Sure enough, as Siku began to grow she became a lively young cub who admired her king and queen. She saw Ruh as a father figure and D'lani as a mother figure, though she would never admit it out loud.

OTHER:
Siku is a descendant of Vitani. (More specifically, her great-great granddaughter.)
She is also deathly afraid of fire and thunder.
