Personality:
Because of his unmodernized lifestyle, Turo's personality is pretty straightforward. He's cocky and a little bit vain, always trying to show off in some way or be the best of the best, no matter the circumstance. Where he is from, pea-cocking and showing off are common for young stallions to attract females and look good, so not many ponies try and correct his behavior- although, sometimes he can be a bit annoying. In his culture, bravery and self assuredness are valued traits which children are raised with, and he is no exception; past the egocentric exterior is a heroic stallion who would do anything for his loved ones. He's also rather curious. While most of the tribal ponies of the Gollopegasus Islands are cautious and fearful of things they don't understand, Turo will jump right in and soak up the knowledge! He loves to learn and discover new things. He's a bit of an adrenaline junkie as well! Turo is very musically inclined and if he finds something that makes an odd sound, then chances are it will become an instrument for him. However, his favorite instrument is the bongo drum.

History:
Born and raised on the Gallopegasus Islands, Turotaji lived a simple life with his family in their tribe. As he aged, he fell in love with a mare by the name or Arowana. The two shared mutual feelings and began a romantic relationship. However, one day the volcanic cloud brewed up a terrible storm. Being young and cocky, the younger pegasi decided to play a game of "storm chicken" to see who could withstand the harsh winds and rain longest. Everything was fine until the wind picked up during Arowana's turn, causing her to be sucked into it's powerful currents and lost. When the storm was over, Turotaji looked all over the islands for her, but to no avail. When he realized that she was no where to be found, he decided to travel the skies to try and find her, so that the two could be reunited in peace once again.

Other:
The bracelet on his leg is acutally an engagement gift from his fiancee, Arowana ; it;s made ouf of shells. The earring is part of a set that the two made together to signify their eternal love.
He can't speak English very well; he knows only a tiny bit, mostly just single words here and there.
