the 2017 version of my FTOC Ryuuchi .I'm going through and updating all of my FTOC's. this is Ryuuchi .Β this version has elements of all his previous designs incorporated into one. I tried to make his outfit look like he was a martial artist. the colours are mostly the same as usual but I did as small bits of gold to reflect his master.

Ryuuchi is a dragon slayer. he uses fire as his element. he originally was a 2nd generation with a lacrima implanted into him. after joining mythic cross he started to study dragon slayer magic under hikari's ancestral spirit; Dragon. although ryuuchi couldn't learn dragons type of magic he did learn to use his better becoming a 3rd generation slayer.
he originally used his magic similarly to nastu by lighting his fist on fire and punching his opponents but after studying under his new master he developed a better fighting style using his fire in marital arts.

I'm not entirely sure that's fire dragon slayer magic. I think it might be closer to the lines of purgatory dragon slayer.Β

yes. he uses Fire dragon slayer magic. the fire element isn't exclusive to natsu/igneel they where other fire dragons.

yes I'm going to make more of him. eventually, I haven't done much due to other commitments but I will get back into my art work soon.
as for his magic. it is basically the same as natsu's though he wasn't trained be a dragon. I imagine him using it slightly differently as well. more martial arts fighting compared to natsu's just punching. best example would be how the firebenders fight in the Avatar/ legend of Korra series. there is an example :Β youtu.be/VIupxe93swY

That's some badass dragon slayer. Btw I noticed he is element fire. So the same as Natsu? I'm just curious on how you decided to tell them apart^^

mainly he is different because he wasn't taught by a dragon like natsu he had a lacrima implanted. I usually draw his fire darker. And he has different fighting style.
I imagine it like how a fire bender fights from Avatar last air bender / legend of korra.
