I gotta know: How did you get the "beat up" effects? I've tried it myself on a project or two, but it never looks enough like the natural wear-n-tear on a comic cover. Please, please advise!

oh, you'll have to pull some tutorials on that, good sir. I didn't do the weathering, I leave that to far better men- i have no idea how they do it
