Description
Jimmy Dent aka STARSHIELD.The one and only time traveling super soldier from the future who holds down a dayjob while he also works as a hero in a major metropolis where he struggles to find out how to control his ever growing powers and find his place in this new world.

Yeah hopefully people will like the concept.
Think of it like the last unit of a mass produced line of CaptainAmericas from the future with built-in weaponry light years beyond anything we've even imagined. The ultimate all accesories included super-soldier....who happens to be stuck centuries in the past with no knowledge of how to control his abilities, so he has do what he feels compelled to do (be a hero) low-tech style.

Matt, dude, you really oughta start paying more attention to your lineart. Pen Tool in Photoshop is totally beyond me, but flash is easy as 1-2-3. With a more lively line your stuff is gonna look totally pro. Now it lacks just that littel something, that a good lineart can give you.
Or you can use your tablet for the thicknes variation.

i've always had very uninteresting lines....cuz I'm not an "artist" I leave that to the talented guys. I like to share my scibbles and ideas cuz I really like'em....and there's no one else to draw'em for now.

Great piece mate. I love how he's holding the sword especially. I wish I could draw guns better :\ Not that any of my characters use them, so it probably doesn't really matter one bit how badly I draw them.

The skinny pretty much is you pitch them a one paragraph, one page sequential pitch for a comic book series. You win, they publish it and pay you to produce it. They of course own the rights, but I understand that you get residuals of multi-media sales. Platinum was/is responsible for MIB, Jerimiah and a bunch of stuff that's in the works for movies, TV and video.
I sound like they're paying me. I wish.
