it's funny- I hated the stupid yellow and aqua-blue suit when I first saw it, but being desperate for a superhero book (at the time remember, everyone was in black leather instead of spandex) I took what I could get. Now that it's gone, I already miss it.A little more grown up build than this old one

it's pretty effin' good.
The ONLY complaint that I have is that it reads SO good that you actually read it TOO fast. I wait about 3 months to get the single issues now, so I can read them all in a line.
I'd recommend picking up one of the TPB- i think the first one's only 9.99 or something

I'll have to give it a looksee. I burned through his Walking Dead stuff so quick I'm caught with all the trades that are out (and kinda bummed about it). Maybe Invincible will help kill the time.

Nice work Matt! I'm in the same boat as you man, never thought I'd miss his costume, but now that he doesn't have it anymore it's kind of a shame to see it go. Though the goggle to bug me a bit. They should have stuck with the white ones.

I'm diggin the blue, I do miss the yellow though, it always made Mark stick out and make sure everybody knew he was the focus of a panel.

Actually, I sort of like the new costume. Call me a sucker for black and one other color schemes, but I think this is less busy than the old one was. It was sort of hard on the eyes for me. Though I do think the black goggles look a little odd on him.

eliminating the 3rd color in an existing scheme is drastic...imagine Supes w/ no red or Spidey w/ no blue

Well, there was the Black Spidey suit, which technically elmininated all color, but fans the world over agree that it's just as worthy of Spider-Man as the red and blue number.
What 3 colors does Spidey have, anyway? I thought it was just red and blue.

I suppose because it's seems like they changed it a bit too soon. You have to figure, Invincible's comic is still pretty young.
