**UPDATE** after almost 2 years its finallly coloured! [link] **After doing the Kingdom Hearts Meme I HAD to do an Axel fanart, so after a couple of rough poses, I settled on this one.
This is the pencil lineart just after I scanned it, before retouching the image. I'm currently working on the painted version now, so watch this space ^^

oooh, thank you very much ^^ im flattered, I lvoe drawing eyes, they're probly the thing im best at, these ones to be are pretty unfinished though, cause the paper started ripping so I couldnt quite perfect them XD same with the mouth, note to self, use better paper XD
Then again im probly gonna have to erase the shading of the eyes when I colour it anyway lol, so its probly a good state for the eyes to be in XD
ooh thank you very much ^^ it should be nearing completion soon, im on a 2 week break, and finishing axel is one of my top priorities

Omg, sounds familiar
I'm always so perfectionistic when it comes to little details I keep changing them over and over again until the paper is either grey all over or starts ripping as well.
Quality paper might really be an option. *smiles* But anyways, I quite like the eyes on that picture, they don't really have to be changed again.
Well, if you don't, you can't colour the eyes

Hm, yeah. Some details I never really care about as well. (Like clothes, they always just look like "I don't care"...

axel is my fav character, even though is english voice actor has a chubby voice XD The coloured version is on its way, bit of delay when my pc died, then I have an assignment due this week, but after that I plan to get it finished ^^ stay tuned!

I have the same problem, espeically when you try and convince someone and they get bored of the first one, cause the second is so much better, but you dont get any of it if you dont play the first

Eyes are my favourite part to draw, these ones came out a lil off though personally cause the paper started ripping, it was really budget paper, same with around the mouth. Note to self, use better paper XD

yeah one of my original poses had his weapons in it, but they were such a pain in the ass to draw that I scrapped it XD
I like this one more anyway, nice expression and fairly easy to colour, lets me practise hair and clothes

i love the eyes! they're very well done. i have such a hard time drawing eyes...that's why i draw the caped crusader...ha ha, you don't have to draw his eyes. it's that or you only see one side, muahahaha, i so sneaky.

haha I used to be like that, I couldn't draw faces or feet, so my character would always be wearing Japanese rice hats or facing the other was, and they'd be standing behind rocks or in water. But then I started doodling eyes like constantly, in my maths books, on the back of receipts etc
Now I always doodle them, they're just so fun to draw lol, I think they're probly the best part of the body I can draw. These ones were a pain though cause the paper was cheap and it started to rip cause the pencil was sharp, so they're not quite as finished as I'd like
