One of my works from my yr 13 painting board, listening to rise against made me redo some of the shitty photoshopping I did back then, tweaked it a bit, and thought I'd upload itMy board had a anti-war theme across all my works, I might upload some more

I like it aswell, it was my favourite piece from my painting board, although I didnt actually paint the uncle sam image, I just coloured over a few bits

Thanks, yeah my entire board spanned a sort of anti war theme, I've always thought of war as meaningless deaths, just sending faceless, nameless coldiers one after another to fight to the death, so that the select few profit while the rest suffer, which I tried to emulate in this piece ^^

oh hell yeah, I would have to agree with what your saying right there and your work totally shows it...and you said it right "meaningless"....a lot of times you got kids turning 18, have there whole life ahead of them...those are the ones being sent of to die for their country....all for what?? for uncle sam???newsflash my friend uncle sam dosnt give a shit....yeah the whole war prapagada really does piss me off in a way...whole reason I got out of the military...fighting the rich mans war, while the rich man sends the poor man to die....yeah my friend you said it...."meaningless"...wow..your work got me thinking...

Whilst I agree with your theme I find the overall image unsettling...

The Uncle Sam poster - but interesting to know how you did the background also. I thought it might have been a photograph, but it has a similar texture of paint.
