"Umm... Mr. Magician... I don't think the Sawing In Half Trick is supposed to be like this. I mean, I'm upside-down!"
"Oh, trust me, sweetheart, that's exactly how I want you to be."
"Bu-But I don't know how this is going to work!"
"Yeah, I've got to admit, I'm experimenting with you, and you look so good too. It'd be a shame if something bad happened to you!"
"Uh, what if something bad DOES happen to me?"
"Oh don't worry about that, honey. If this trick fails, I've got LOTS of other nicely put-together girls who are willing to let me use their little bodies for my dangerous magic."
(whimpering) "That's not what I meant!"
*The magician starts up the saw. Any future questions or protests from the assistant are unheard.*

mattjedi01 I love your artwork.Β Being a fan of the sawing in half illusion as well as damsels in distress, I especially love your reluctant or unwilling assistants being sawn in half artwork.Β The expression on the girl's face as she begins to realize that the magician is going to saw her in half lengthwise, rather than across the hips is priceless.Β I'd love to see part two, or should I say, I'd love to see her in two parts.Β I hope that one day you create a series where a woman is tricked into assisting, and doesn't realize she set herself up to be an evil magician's assistant until it's too late for her to back out.Β Watching her struggle with genuine fear as the magician saws her in half would be a real treat.

I thoroughly enjoyed the concept as well as the artwork.Β However, when I picture her, I hear her saying, "When you said we're going to perform an impalement act, I didn't realize you're actually going to impale me with a buzz saw.Β I thought you were going to throw knives at me. Β

No cuff round her neck? What's to stop her leaning to one side, so the saw doesn't bisect her head?
Or maybe, instead of a cuff round her neck she should have cuffs round her hair bunches? That'd be... different!

Yeah, I'm not sure how those sparkles got there, as I don't think they are supposed to be there, but it works.
