Poor Soundwave! He's having trouble figuring out a CD! Time has clearly caught up with Soundwave and his cassette minions! (Very sadly)

And even CDs are disappearing now. I think the relationship between Soundwave/Blaster and the tapes is the hardest to keep current when TF redesigns happen. The dichotomy of physical media + dedicated player is getting to be a thing of the past.
I've pondered whether Soundwave as a news van and the tapes as equipment (big camera on a tripod, roof-mounted satellite dish, etc.) could work. But I couldn't come up with enough types of equipment to fill the roster out.
