Trailbreaker was one of my very first Transformers, and one whose personality I always identified with a little. I figured it was high time I did a pic of him. (For any Ze Frank fans out there, I think he's showing us his Power Move .)

Thank you! Involving humans in my TF art is new for me, but it felt necessary for the story/mood I wanted. I'm not always comfortable with the way that TFs glorify war, and I wanted to draw something that was less about the thrill of violence and more about the value of protecting others from it. The fact that I also got to celebrate a character who was part of my treasured childhood introduction to TFs was icing on the cake.

This is just as awesome as your Windcharger piece. Possibly more so because there's a lack of Trailbreaker love out there. Fantastic work.

Is there? I think I'd put Windbreaker and Trailbreaker at about the same level of familiarity-yet-obscurity. At any rate, both of them give me the chance to draw TFs acting like superheroes, which is one of my schticks...

Well, I might also be biased, but yeah, they're around the same level of lack-of-spotlight. Either way, this is a great schtick to have and you do fantastic work. Thank you for posting it for others to enjoy.
