I liked doing this piece because I had to research what Bionicles look like in the movie which is what the style I wanted to draw (drawing here [link] ). I also had to be a little creative because when drawing Xerro in a bionicle movie style, there was no Xerro movie style or model or version. So I had to kind of create a movie style myself. Though I did research images of Tahu or Hordika Vakama (I was raised in Bionicle when I was a kid (though I'm only 15) so that's the reason I know a lot of characters names). While at the same time creating a movie style, I tried keeping the character look like the original lego character so he's recognizable.

The background was a little challenging only because I didn't know where Xerro had came from (example: Le-koro, Ko-koro, Ta-metru etc). Looking at how dark and evil looking Xerro looked, I made a more rougher and darker environment.
