Description
Last weekend Dwayne McDuffie's life and death were honored by his friends and family on social media. I drew this during that time and sent it to his wife thanking her for keeping his memory alive each year. Dwayne McDuffie's work in animation is a great inspiration to me and for anyone who hasn't seen or read any of his work, you should definitely check it out or any interviews he has done.Related content

You did a really cool job! I'd hope to see more of your Static art in the future. Dwayne and Static Shock are how I got into comics so many years ago.

Thank you, if I can get some time to draw for myself I'd probably draw up another Static picture. It's always to good to hear about the impact he had on people, I personally enjoyed what he and the creative team did on the Justice League series.

Dwayne McDuffie was one of my favorite DC writers and he is very much missed. He left behind a great legacy of characters and animation, truly an inspiration. Thank you for this great tribute! Your artwork is amazing! It really captures Static's personality, and I love the dynamic pose and how clean the overall art is. Perfect likeness to his Young Justice design.
