Description
A Species first appearing in a Fossil Pokemon Reserve on a small Alolan Island, Alolan Rampardos is an enigma of adaptation. Despite having apparently still lived in Semi-Tropical regions, it has evolved a mane of fine, quill-like Icicles, leading scientists to believe it evolved specifically in response to one Pokemon: Tyrantrum. The Freezing cold quills, combined with claws, horns, and a head dome of packed ice, would have proved a life saver against the Despot Pokemon. This species also displays much more varied fighting styles compared to the standard, incorporating kicks, punches, tail swipes, and even bites alongside headbutting.
* Frostbite: Alolan Rampardos’ signature ability. Physical contact with this Pokemon has a 30% chance of Freezing the Opponent.
* Evolves from Cranidos when given an Ice Stone.
More PokeJurassic Park forms and I’ll be honest, this one was a challenge. Pachycephalosaurs are just kind of all the same really. So little shoutout to @raptorcivilization for encouraging this typing instead of my initial Rock/Fighting.
Also, new commission prices just went up, see this form if you are interested.

I always thought of an idea called perfect ressurection, where you take a fossil and the Pokemon becomes what it was like in the past

Frostbite sounds like an OP ability, considering being frozen shuts down everything, all the time, until the Pokemon defrosts (as opposed to paralysis, which only shuts down the Pokemon half the time).

Maybe it's an ability for a mythical pokemon, then, but I'd still like to see something like it
This is pretty 'ice looking. Only a cooltrainer could handle something like this. It's snow dinosaur, but I bet it stands a fighting chance in the island challenge. Seriously it's a neat design. I really like it.

This is cool and all, but it seems a bit too unrealistic. How could it have survived as an Ice-type? Even if the reason for becoming Ice-type was to combat Tyrantrum, it would still be unable to survive based on what you've said about it.
If you do in fact have a viable explanation for how this could be possible, please tell me what it is. I am interested to know what creative way you might have of working around that.
