People seem to be queuing up to pick a fight with Ogrokh (you know, this bloke: [link] ) just at the moment, and - if I may borrow a phrase from Street Fighter 2 - here comes a new challenger!

Many of you will probably recognise this hairy, burly little blighter as Myrmidon Sledgefist, the ace dwarf character created by equally ace arty chap GH-Mongo ( [link] ). Ogrokh and Myrmidon are alike in many ways - they’re both affable unless annoyed (although, it has to be said, annoyance comes rather more easily to Mr Sledgefist than it does to Mr Glug), they both regularly consume enough alcohol to drown a hippopotamus, and they both like to unwind by getting into punch-ups. And Myrmidon, like Ogrokh, used to have a part-time job as a wrestler, so he’s an ideal candidate for a spot of orc-vs-dwarf thumpage. Ogrokh usually objects to fighting people smaller than him, but what Myrmidon lacks in size he more than makes up for in leg-gnawing ferocity. He also takes great offence to people making comments about his height, so Ogrokh could in fact be in serious trouble here.

I came up with a couple of different wrestling outfit designs for Mr Sledgefist, and after chatting with his creator we settled on this one - the bearskin trunks just seem to suit him (it gives him a pleasing look of Hacksaw Jim Duggan, only more intelligent and with an axe instead of a bit of wood), and the metal studs on the boots and the belt are just the thing for making kicks and body splashes considerably more unpleasant for the person on the receiving end.

Hmm. Better make that VERY serious trouble, in fact.

A picture of Ogrokh’s match with Myrmidon will be appearing here just as soon as it’s humanly possible for me to get it drawn. In the meantime, here’s a little music. Oh, and Mr Sledgefist is, of course, the copyright of GH-Mongo, and anyone found guilty of infringing said copyright will have a studded mining boot jammed up their left nostril.
