As you’ll no doubt agree, there is much to love about the above piccy – the impossibly cheering facial expressions, the brilliantly bold linework, Monkeyboy's entertainingly noodly construction – but for me the best thing is how Mr Stayte has managed to give the characters his own unique, distinctive look while keeping them both instantly recognisable. I always love to see other people’s interpretations of my characters, and this is a peachy-keen example of why – it’s simultaneously surprising, inspiring and just plain old-fashioned great fun.
