The stars are from some other photo? i mean, the light pollution and other city lights would ruin it? and f9 at 15/1 wouldnt capture? correct me if i'm wrong. anyway nice idea.

Those two points are valid. The real kicker is the starscape itself. It is a good generation but the Pleiades star cluster has been replicated twice in generating the starscape...One can be found directly left of the top of the tallest tower in the image and the other near the top edge of the image toward the far left of the image (I may have actually found a faint third left of center). So the sky was obviously generated using actual photographs of that region of the sky seperately and then composited into the image. So I think this should be in photomanipulations. It is a good piece of photomanipulation (other than the unconvincing sky) although I would argue that it COULD be done in the right situation using HDR. Some cities don't pollute very much and so there is less of a haze to scatter light and get that orange looking sky. In smaller towns (such as small northern ones) it is difficult to view the stars because the brightness of town and street lights cause your eyes to adjust for bright light and so the stars are very dim. With HDR you can avoid that. In big cities with a lot of gas pollution, the "light pollution" is worse because the smog creates an actual obscuration. :S

I think this is wonderful. The night lights contrasts and complements the stars in the sky.

This is stunning! The attention to detail is amazing and the lights really have the feeling of life to the picture. The fast-paced lifestyle quality really does make for magic. The stars in the sky and the lingering dusk in the corner if the picture are beautiful.
Great job.
Congratulations on the DD!
