This would be great even without the witty title! Brilliant concept & execution.

This is stellar work! Love the color, the angle, the repetition...a great capture with perfect lighting.

That's hard work
But this one I found by incident in the London Tube...
Sometimes it's good not to use the escalators like everyone else

Indeed it is .. I've just never found a spot like that. Lucky you!
How about all the abandoned houses? How'd you find them?

There are several ways how I find them...
First of all, where I live (in Eastern Germany) we have plenty of great locations and you see some when you just drive along...
Then you can identify many locations as abandoned with google maps (that makes life so much easier )
And furthermore there is a great Urbex community. I got to know at least 30 people within the last year via deviantart and flickr that i met in person and went on tour with afterwards. for example, last september 8 guys from the uk came to germany, they wrote me an email and we met up and i (and some more guys) showed them some locations. afterwards i went to london and they showed me some stuff. so the community is really awesome.

Hmm ... better start looking then
Another thing; Quite many of your pictures are from inside office buildings etc. Do you just walk in and pull out the camera, or do you ask for permission first?

That always depends on the situation...
if there's a reception i probably ask, even though you will often hear "no it's not allowed to take pictures" but sometimes people are nice as well... if there is nobody that could probably stop me immediately i just start taking pictures and see what happens you can always say, oh sorry i didn't know that it's not allowed
