There is a really interesting contrast here -- the carefully rendered/detailed nose and eye area... set against the very flat hair, ear, neck, chest, and attire. I also like how the face and upper body of the character seems to merge -- almost sink into -- the hair, giving the impression that the hair is a character in itself and further emphasizes the fact that it's the dominant aspect here (besides the more detailed parts of the face, which my eye is really drawn to). Great work!
