this....is the girliest thing i've ever created....and sadly, that's saying something for my art.OH WELL! i'm comfortable with my masculanity hahah!
so this is kind of a re-amped picture of one of my very old pieces [link] it was fun to see how far i've come i guess.
hope you like it!

I share your pain, BGs are my mortal enemy as proven with this darn one I'm working on blech, but that is so pretty and it fits the characters and mood! LOL

I can't believe I haven't commented on this yet! It came out really well, though! You positioned them all nicely, and they look really natural - I tend to struggle with group pictures (what with some poses looking more static than others), but you did a good job. The flowers are a cute touch, too. ^^
Don't worry about it looking girly - I know quite a few male artists where that's ALL they do. As long as you like it, that's all that should matter.

but my next pic is pretty dark so it'll make up for it.

Of course it's fine, should get you to work with real pastels lol more painful XD As long as you feel happy with it, that counts. But really lovely piece, I think your work is gd cause you do mainly group stuff. I can't even think of enough positions lol
