I also miss the old Naruto, but thats because we are so used to it. Eventually we will come to love shippuden almost as much as the original.

You really meshed the bg and the characters very well! I love the shadows being cast behind them. The lines you used in their clothes is a very nice touch, too, and adds to the shading!
