i thought it was about time for a kenshin fanart, I mean, the guy's name is part of my ID here right?as i'm kinda known for, I modernized their clothing for a trip through present downtown japan somewhere.

i used the stamp cool with a little bit of motification so it wasn't too dominant, taking over the entire picture y'know?

For some reason, I really like how you used your style to send these four on a time-warp into the future! Maybe it's because the cool grays of their outfits make a nice contrast against the red in the background...Which reminds me, I really need to catch up on reading the Rurouni Kenshin manga...

I'm not very far in it at all. -_- I remember reading up to the fourth or fifth volume in high school, but I checked out some of those volumes from the school library...and I bought the third volume a while ago, but still haven't felt like rereading it. And it seems like they're rereleasing it in three-volume sets, so once I finish that, I can get the compilation volume with volumes 4-6...And I feel like I owe something to Nobuhiro Watsuki, since I was lucky enough to ask him a question once..

Well, I was in the right place at the right time at Comic-Con a few years ago...there was a panel with him in it, and the audience there got a chance to ask him questions. He didn't speak English, and I didn't speak Japanese, but there was an interpreter there. I asked him something like what kept him motivated while creating long manga series such as Rurouni Kenshin, and he basically said that it was the fans that kept him going.
