Here's where things went out of our control. Upon the remote getting accidentally crushed, it started to feel like we were getting bigger a lot faster than before. Not good, the ray was now stuck on max power, and there no way of turning it off without crushing it.

Stuck at max power, it only took seconds for us make contact with the lab roof and it looked like we would outgrow the lab soon after, Thankfully, I had installed a special roof in the lab recently in case of situations just like this. I wasn't able to explain how it worked seeing as we were still growing at a rapid pace, so we just climbed out of the lab and attempted to make our way towards somewhere with wide open spaces. Wasn't gonna really do much good.
