The MG mount is weird to me but this is at its core a better Demolisher II then any other that I've seen I think.

They're technically sponsons iirc, and the design i went for was a ball on ball setup giving it weird flexibility. Even enough height should it need to set high and fire forward under the turret cheeks. Or rest low if the turret needs to swing round.
I mostly got it from deep sea diving armor suit joints.
