T530 Seers:

Introduced in the year 0520, the Seers is the Main Battle Tank of the Confederacy of Democratic Terran Republics. It is primarily armed with a 125mm railgun capable of firing a variety of ammunition. To complement its main gun it posses a coaxial laser cannon designed to weaken enemy armor at long ranges. The laser can also be used against aircraft and as a hard-kill APS weapon. For anti infantry the tank also has a turreted rapid fire coil gun.

For defense the tank is equipped with rather ordinary armor and a soft-kill E-Barrier, however it is also equipped with a hard-kill E-Barrier projector mounted on the front of the turret. The forward shield is designed to tank enemy fire while it uses it's laser to weaken enemy armor enough for it's main gun to penetrate. For side protection the tank is equipped with two laser APS turrets capable of shooting down both incoming missiles and mass driver shots. For soft-kill it has 14 turret mounted smoke launchers and 2 on each APS.

For movement the tank uses conventional tracks combined with a anti-grav generator for extra mobility. The tank is completely electric powered with a series of batteries spread throughout the hull, which allows it to run mostly silently. The crew is comprised of a driver, gunner, and commander who are all situated in a crew compartment in the back.

M75 M'iral:

Used by the United Hives of Cric, the M'iral is mainly armed with a high velocity plasma cannon. The cannon is able to fire a beam of super heated plasma over several miles, although they can only maintain this beam for a few seconds due to overheating. Although powerful enough to melt through most enemy armor in a single shot, the plasma generator which is situated at the back of the turret creates enormous amounts of waste heat and even has it's own radiator, making the tank very easy to detect via IR. For secondaries there is a coaxial plasma gun linked up to the same generator as the main gun, as while as a anti infantry turret equipped with both a laser and coilgun.

For defense the tank is equipped with ordinary, although rather thick armor and soft-kill E-Barriers with two laser APS emitters on the sides of the turret. The remote anti-infantry turret can also be set to PD mode to act as a additional APS laser.

The M'iral is equipped with standard tracks and a anti-grav generator, being powered by a fuel engine at the back. Although powerful enough for the plasma generator, the engine is extremely noisy and generates even more heat making its IR signature equivalent of that of a moving lava blob. The 3 man crew is located in a somewhat cramped compartment in it's front hull.

That's why the Seers has an E-barrier (energy shield) there.

Edit: Also this is set a couple of centuries into the future so laser tech has improved.

*just tosses EMP and delets vehicle*

Even if your vehicle has shields, it is no excuse to leave weaknesses. Otherwise you may as well use a gun platform with a shield generator, high speed, and no armor.

The two side bulbs are actually APS turrets.

But thanks, now I cannot unsee that.
