Description
Battletech commission of a heavy Quad Battle armor. Supposedly and offshoot from the Fenrir development this fellow forgoes a lot of the speed and the modular turret for a heavier weapon set and mimetic armor.Aside from the first time i drew the Purifier armor i haven't really gotten a chance to draw mimetic armor in action till this guy. Don't ask me about the science of how it works, i don't know. As an artist i can literally throw my hands up and surrender, and that's a valid answer

The science behind it?Oh, 20-100ton mechs carry a nuclear power plant in his body to feed fat laser weapons, and carry 2-16 tons of heat-exchanger to keep the heat of such weapons slightly under the pilot-gets-backed level.
Power armours.....do that all with good will, they always did, and run fine with no explanation xD
A dozen battletech-autors choose the same way....but they had no drawing skills as excuse....

It's not your job to describe why it works, they leave that to Bullock or Coleman or something. What you do is great and I'm glad you work with Catalyst.

Leave the science to the 'scientists', this is a great drawing. The head especially is fantastic.

I'm still in awe about how both turned out. Thanks again, Matt
