Description
Commissioned redraft of the Minotaur protomech, the P2 heavy variant.The idea being as they moved into more mass production, a lot of the more exotic features got eliminated or reduced.

I like this a lot. A hate to speak ill of other artists, especially one who has passed, but Doug's style of Protomechs felt more appropriate for a Science Fantasy setting, more often than not, and thus the template for future Protos. Which really made me hate them even though on paper they weren't a bad idea. This looks really awesome and a lot more sensible for a culture supposedly very spartan in aesthetics and averse to waste.

I miss its horns but it still looks AMAZING. Not something i'd want to see stomping towards me with ill intent.
