Description
The iconic dragon helmet was designed by the marketing department. It was the only time on the project that we were handed a design. This presented a unique opportunity: create a suit of armor that puts the dragon helmet in context. This was an attempt to say "dragon" without being too obvious about it (my first attempt looked like a ridiculous mess of spikes and scales).Β(and no, that mubari didn't make it into the game)

my feedback on the dragon armor: it's too bulky, so much so it looks hilarious and unfit to the world theme

Very cool design and I adore the colours. And the incredibly clean-looking linework.
Bonus: It's kinda reassuring to see that even highly skilled designers still have weird first attempts. So thanks for showing it. <3
And I'm glad you didn't go with scales for the... leg... thingy (lack of vocabulary, sorry) like in the sketch. As it is now, it isn't too noisy (details-wise) and I kind of feel as if I learned something about design by simply looking at it.

Love this design! The sash and scarf really work well in contrast with all of the scales and hard edges of the armor itself. Nice touch!!
It looks super fancy on my elven Inquisitor.
Too bad the mabari didn't make the cut, would have been awesome!
